At a time when the world is experiencing growing social and political change, it’s refreshing to see stakeholders from around the world, and across the private and public sectors, come together at the Global Food Safety Conference for open discussion and collaboration. We are all working together towards a shared goal: safe food for consumers everywhere.
In the spirit of collaboration, we look forward to welcoming delegates, private companies and public sector officials from around the world. We’re excited to announce a number of new regulatory speakers have been confirmed for the conference programme.
Of particular note is Ryousuke Kouzuki, Vice-Minister For Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan. He will speak about how Japanese food culture has been the basis of food safety since early times. Below you’ll find more details on our newly-confirmed speakers and highlights from the programme.

Speakers include Melvin Spreij, Head of the World Trade Organisation’s Standards and Trade Development Facility (STDF), and Chair of the Codex Alimentarius Commission, Guilherme da Costa. You’ll also hear from Paul Meyers, CFIA and Dr Ostroff, US FDA.
