Version 7.1 of GFSI's Benchmarking Requirements Furthering Harmonisation

Hot on the heels of February's publication of the new GFSI Benchmarking Requirements Version 7, Version 7.1 is now being released to the GFSI community and the food industry at large. This collection of documents tailored for food safety certification programmes is continually being updated to reflect the latest changes in the marketplace and in new regulations relating to food safety.

GFSI-recognised Certification Programme Achieves Full Government Recognition

PARIS, 20 March – The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) applauds CanadaGAP on achieving full government recognition. This recognition is a major public/private achievement and it comes as further reinforcement to what many food industry experts have reiterated time and again – that achieving certification to a GFSI-recognised certification programme puts operations in a good place to meet new government regulations.
