Experts from Around the World Convene in Minneapolis to Tackle Global Food Safety Issues

Round-up from 5th Edition GFSI Focus Day China

Record Engagement from Public and Private Sectors. Beijing has just hosted the fifth edition of the GFSI China Focus Day, which gathered 395 delegates from around China, as well as other countries including Japan, France and the USA. The Focus Day, endorsed by key Chinese national agencies, benefited from the engagement of leading local and global companies operating in the food sector.

This recognition is a major public/private achievement and it comes as further reinforcement to what many food industry experts have reiterated time and again – that achieving certification to a GFSI-recognised certification programme puts operations in a good place to meet new government regulations.
